National Testing Agency has announced NEET Re Exam 2026 date today, May 15, 2026. As per latest notice, revised NEET UG examination will now be conducted on June 21, 2026. According to the latest notification, NEET re exam timing has also been revised. The examination will now be conducted from 2 PM to 5:15 PM instead of the earlier schedule. However, the reporting time is likely to remain same and students have to reach on or before 1:30 PM.

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and para-medical courses in India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. It is held once a year in a paper-pencil based mode.
Although earlier NTA was mulling the idea of conducting NEET twice a year, now it has been confirmed that the exam will be held only once a year in a paper-pencil based mode. NTA communicated this information through an RTI response where it was stated that NEET will be conducted once a year. This has quashed the possibility of conducting NEET twice a year. However, the NTA expert committee headed by ISRO Chief K. Radhakrishnan has recommended conducting NEET twice a year, but there has not been any official confirmation on it yet.
NEET will be conducted in 13 languages. Till 2020, NEET was held in 11 languages. NTA increased the number of languages or medium to 13 from 2021 onwards. Malayalam and Punjabi are the latest additions. The list of languages are as follows:
