NEET SS 2024 Counselling Round 1 Choice Filling Begins

The NEET SS 2024 counselling Round 1 choice filling process has started on May 14, 2025, as per the schedule. The last date to fill and lock choices is May 18, 2025, 11.55 PM. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix for DM and MCh courses prior to the commencement of the choice filling process.

The NEET SS 2024 counselling Round 1 registration process commenced on May 13, 2025. Only those candidates who have completed the registration process would be eligible to fill and lock choices within the slated schedule.

MCC has released NEET SS 2024 Round 1 seat matrix for All India as well as for Tamil Nadu state. There are 3,682 seats at the All India level and 196 seats at Tamil Nadu institutes. Hence, the total number of seats available in the first round of NEET SS 2024 counselling is 3,878.

How to Fill Choices for NEET SS 2024 Counselling?

To fill choices for NEET SS 2024 counselling Round 1, candidates have to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of NEET SS counselling – mcc.nic.in
• Click on the Super Speciality tab
• Click on the New Registration link under the Candidate Activity Board
• Login with the registration credentials
• Refer to the seat matrix and fill the choices in preferential order
• Click on Save

Candidates are advised to refer to the seat matrix first and decide which courses and colleges to opt for before starting with the choice filling process.

The NEET SS 2024 counselling Round 1 choice locking window will be open on May 18, 2025, from 4 PM to 11.55 PM. The seat allotment result will be declared on May 21, 2025.
