NEET SS 2024 Final Edit Window Closes Today

The NEET SS 2024 final correction window is ending today, March 13, 2025, at 11.55 PM. In the final correction window, candidates will be able to edit or modify the files uploaded by them, of the photograph signature or thumb impression.

As stated by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), this is the final opportunity for candidates to correct the incorrect files. Prior to this, the NEET SS 2024 edit window or the application correction window from February 27 to March 3, 2025.

How to Edit NEET SS 2024 Application Form

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to edit the files uploaded on the NEET SS 2024 application form:

  • Click on the official website of NEET SS or directly enter the link https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetss
  • Click on the Application Link tab
  • Click on the Login tab
  • Enter the User ID, Password and Captcha and click on Login
  • Re-upload the photograph, signature or thumb impression files as per the instructions
  • Click on Save

Instructions Regarding NEET SS Photograph

NBE has stated the following instructions regarding the photograph upload on the NEET SS 2024 application form:

  • The size of the photograph should be 35x45 mm with at least 75 per cent area on the photograph should be occupied with the face and head of the candidate. The file size should not be more than 80 KB.
  • It should be a colour photograph with plain white background.
  • The photograph needs to display full front view of the face with a neutral expression. No caps, stethoscope, goggles, or ornaments to be worn.
  • The photograph should not have reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
  • The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions.
  • The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
  • The photograph must not be older than three months.
  • The file should be in jpg or jpeg format.

Instructions Regarding NEET SS Signature Upload

The following instructions are given by NBE regarding signature upload on NEET SS application form:

  • Draw a box of size 1.5 cm (height) x 3.5 cm (width). Use a black or dark blue ink pen to sign within this box on a white paper.
  • Click the signature within the box in bright light conditions using any digital device (preferably with > 5-megapixel resolution). Avoid using flash. Ensure that there is no shadow on the image.
  • Resize the image to 20 – 100 Kb (maintain aspect ratio, i.e. height and width ratio to avoid distortion of image).
  • The file size should not be more than 80 KB.
  • The file should be in jpg or jpeg format.

Instructions Regarding NEET SS Thumb Impression Upload

Take a look at the thumb impression upload instruction on the NEET SS 2024 application form.

  • Draw a box of 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (width x height) on a white sheet of paper (you may draw more than 1 box to take multiple thumb print and select the best).
  • Use a fresh blue/black colour ink pad.
  • Gently press your LEFT THUMB against the ink pad and take a horizontal print of your left thumb within the box. Do not press too much or wriggle as it may lead to smudging of print. Preferably take impressions of thumb in more than box.
  • The size of image should be less than 80kb.
  • The file should be in jpg or jpeg format.

The NEET SS 2024 admit card will be released on March 25, 2025, and the exam will be conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025, in two slots each day.

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in a window of two days and two slots each day. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 27 and December 28, 2025. No, the NEET SS 2024 exam did not get postponed. The NEET SS 2024 exam was conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025, as per the schedule. The National Board of Examiations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the exam dates on September 13, 2024. NBEMS released the NEET SS 2024 application form on February 4, 2025, and the last date was February 24, 2025.

Yes, NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences provides correction facility for NEET SS application form. There are two correction or edit windows provided only for those candidates who submit the application form on time by paying the requisite application fee. The first NEET SS application correction window is for making the basic changes in the application form, in the permitted fields. In the second and the final correction window of NEET SS, candidates are given the opportunity to correct the deficient or incorrect images or files uploaded, such as photograph, signature and thumb impression. Both the NEET SS application correction windows are provided for three days.
