MCC to close the NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 choice-filling window today, January 2, at around 11:55 pm for admission to DM/MCh courses.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is all set to close the choice filling and choice locking window for NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 today at 11:55 pm at the official website โ€“ mcc.nic.in.

The candidates can lock choices today for the DM/MCh courses from 4 pm to 11:55 pm. Once the choice locking is complete, the seat allotment process will be done between January 3 to January 4, 2023. The seat allotment result for NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 will be declared on January 5, 2023. The reporting to the allotted colleges will be held from January 6 to January 12, 2023.

How to fill choices for NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2

The candidates need to do the following to fill in the choices for round 2: 

  • Visit the official website - mcc.nic.in
  • Login using username, password and security pin
  • Click on โ€˜Choice fillingโ€™ link
  • Select the course and select the number of colleges from AIQ, central or deemed
  • Save the filled-in choices and verify them carefully
  • After verification, click on the lock button to lock choices

MCC adds one seat to NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 

MCC announced adding one seat of M.CH. Urology at KAMINENI INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Sreepuram, Narketpally Nalgonda Dist., Telangana, to round 2 of the counselling.

"The Medical Counselling Committee has received information from the following Institutes about new seats which could not be contributed by the colleges before the start of Round 1 of SS Counselling 2022. Therefore, the competent authority has decided to include the following D.M/ M.Ch seats in the seat matrix of Round-2 of SS Counselling 2022 to prevent wastage of precious Super Speciality seats," reads MCC's notification.
