NEET SS Counselling 2023 Round 1 Seat Resignation Announced by MCC

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the seat resignation process for candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 as well as INI SS counselling. Even though the resignation process is not applicable for NEET SS counselling scheme, MCC has allowed resignation without forfeiture for seats allotted to such candidates in Round 1 of NEET SS Counselling 2023 conducted by MCC.

MCC has stated that candidates allotted INI SS seats who wish to resign their NEET SS Round 1 counselling seats have to send their INI SS allotment letter along with the following undertaking (Copy attached) to MCC on email id: colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com by November 29, 11 AM. Candidates sending emails with requisite documents will be allowed to resign from November 29, 2 PM to November 30, 5 PM.

However, they will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of SS Counselling 2023 being conducted by MCC.

How to Resign NEET SS Round 1 Counselling Seats

MCC has stated the procedure to resign the seats, which is, “Candidates who are allotted in INIs and wish to resign their seat may approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within the stipulated time. It should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.”

At present, the NEET SS counselling 2023 Round 1 institute reporting process is underway till November 30. The registration process for Round 2 will be conducted from December 5 to December 10.

INI SS entrance exam is conducted by AIIMS for admission to DM, MCh, MD(HA) courses for INIs namely AIIMS New Delhi & other participating AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST.
