National Testing Agency has issued a NEET UG 2026 Refund Update for candidates waiting for their application fee refund amount. The agency said that the NEET refund 2026 amount will be credited directly to the bank account details submitted by candidates at neet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA refund update 2026 also advised candidates to check their bank account details and ensure they are correctly filled. The agency further said that candidates who entered incorrect details or are facing issues in updating their bank account details will be given another opportunity to correct their details after the June 21 exam.
NEET UG Refund Process 2026: What Did NTA Say?
Students will receive their NEET 2026 application fee refund via direct bank transfer at their bank accounts. Candidates have been advised to:
- Verify their bank account details.
- Ensure bank account details are accurate.
- Check the NEET refund portal regularly for further updates.
Candidates do not need to pay any additional fee to get a refund. Also, NTA has said candidates who have entered incorrect bank account details will get another opportunity to correct them after the NEET 2026 exam on June 21.

The NTA will conduct the re NEET 2026 on June 21, 2026. The re exam will be held from 2.00 to 5.15 pm. Candidates who took NEET UG 2026 registration can appear for the re exam.
The NTA allowed the NEET Re-Exam Address and City of Examination Choice filling facility for the candidates. The last date to make these changes in the application was May 21.
The NTA has not released the NEET OMR Sheet 2026 as of now. The sheet will be released anytime soon on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.
The NTA NEET 2026 fee refund news also warned candidates against fraudulent people. The agency said that NTA never asks for OTPs. NTA also do not ask for passwords or UPI PINs. NTA never asks candidates to make payments for processing refunds. Hence, students must avoid fraudulent calls or messages for the refund process.
