The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, in 13 languages. After English, Hindi is the most opted-for medium of language for the NEET question paper. As per the data released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), approximately 15 per cent of candidates registered for the NEET Hindi question paper last year. As per NTA, around 21 lakh candidates appeared for the exam this year.

As per reports, the number of candidates opting for NEET Hindi question papers has increased by 69 per cent between 2017 and 2020. In 2020, 12.80 per cent of candidates opted for the NEET Hindi question paper, whereas the percentage was 11.84 per cent in 2019.
