NEET UG Answer Key 2026

National Testing Agency will soon release NEET UG 2026 answer key along with the response sheet and OMR sheet on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be able to download NEET response sheet 2026. The response sheet will help students to cross-check their answers and estimate their scores before announcement of NEET 2026 result. Along with the answer key, the NEET response sheet 2026 and OMR sheet will help students to anticipate which college they might get during the counselling process.

NEET Marks Rank Predictor 2026

Students can download NEET UG 2026 response sheet using below steps:

  • Visit neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the NEET response sheet 2026 download tab
  • Log in using application number and password/ date of birth
  • The response sheet OMR sheet is available on screen.  

How to Calculate Marks in NEET? 

Students can calculate their marks in NEET UG 2026 exam using the formula. Students have to understand the marking scheme first.

Correct Answer +4 marks for each correct answer
Incorrect Answer -1 mark for each incorrect answer
Unanswered 0 marks for unanswered questions

Formula for Calculating NEET Score

Students can calculate their scores using below formula: 

Total Score = (Correct Answers × 4) – (Incorrect Answers × 1). 

For example, if you attempted 160 questions  
Correct: 130 questions (130×4) = 520
Incorrect: 30 questions (30×1) = 30
Final Score: 520- 30 = 490

Q:   What is the NEET counselling registration fee?
A: 

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
