Odisha government creates 11,292 new posts for Nursing Officers

Scores of aspiring nursing candidates with degrees/diplomas in nursing courses will benefit from these vacancies.

The Odisha government issued a direction on December 8 to the Director, Nursing for filing of requisition with OSSSC (Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission) for the recruitment of 7,413 Nursing Officers against the newly-created posts.

The decision has been taken to augment technical manpower in medical institutes and provide better healthcare services in the state. These posts will be filled up in a phased manner. 

With the addition of these Nursing Officers, the health services in the state are likely to improve to a great extent. These hiring will add manpower to healthcare institutions like district headquarters hospitals and medical colleges and hospitals.

Thousands of candidates with nursing degrees and diplomas are expected to be benefitted from these hirings.

DMET Odisha to conduct walk-in-interview on December 21

A walk-in-interview will be conducted on December 21, 2022, at 12:30 PM in the office of the Director PGIMER & Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar for the engagement of one post of Head Clerk, one Accountant post and two Senior Assistants on a contractual basis for a period of one year, which may be extended for next one year based on the satisfactory performance.

Interested candidates are requested to submit the relevant documents including PPO/provisional PPO, Aadhar Card/Pan Card, and Retirement Notice with all educational certificates in the office of the Director PGIMER & Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar near Blood Bank by 10 am to 12 pm December 21. The interview will start at 12:30 pm in the office Chamber of Director PGIMER & Capital Hospital Bhubaneswar.
