The Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 reported seats can be resigned by candidates by August 28, 2025, 5 PM. The Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 institute reporting process has also been extended till August 26, 2025, 2 PM, which was originally scheduled till August 24, 2025.

The Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 reported seats can be resigned by candidates by August 28, 2025, 5 PM. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura have announced the seat resignation opportunity for candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round. On the other hand, the Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 institute reporting process has also been extended till August 26, 2025, 2 PM, which was originally scheduled till August 24, 2025.

Announcing the same, DME Tripura has stated, “TRMCC is in receipt of several requests from UG candidates who wish to surrender/withdraw their Round-1 admitted seats due to various personal reasons. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to allow Surrender/Withdrawal without forfeiture of security deposit for such candidates.”

Instructions for Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Seat Resignation

DME Tripura has laid down the following information regarding the seat resignation process of the Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat resignation.

  • Candidates who have joined the allotted college and obtained the Admission Letter, and now wish to resign, must report to the allotted college and obtain a Surrender/Withdrawal Letter.
  • Candidates resigning the Round-1 allotted and admitted seat at any stage of counselling after 28-08-2025, 05.00 PM, the security deposit will be forfeited.
  • Candidates who have not obtained the Admission Letter from the allotted Institute need NOT go to the allotted college for the purpose of resignation and will be treated as Free Exit.
  • Candidates must ensure that their Surrender/Withdrawal Letter is generated online (through the TRMCC portal) by the allotted college. Failing this, the surrender/withdrawal will be treated as Null & Void.

The Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat allotment result was declared on August 18, 2025. As many as 389 candidates were allotted MBBS and BDS seats. The institute reporting process had commenced on August 21, 2025.

The Tripura NEET counselling 2025 process started on July 30, 2025. DME Tripura is conducting Round 2 of Tripura NEET Counselling 2025 from September 10 to September 30, 2025. Round 1 was conducted from July 30 to August 24, 2025.  DME Tripura released the schedule for Tripura NEET counselling 2025 Round 1 after the commencement of the national level counselling process, and has launched a new website for Tripura NEET counselling.

The Tripura NEET counselling process is hosted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura. A new website or portal, which is trmcc.admissions.nic.in. The official website to refer for the Tripura NEET UG counselling is that of the Tripura Medical Counselling Commutee (TRMCC). Therein, candidates will get the important notifications, documents, registration and login windows.
