UGC warns students against taking admission in Rajasthan medical college

As per the letter, Singhania University is offering courses without prior approval of the National Medical Commission (NMC) in modern medicine.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has notified medical students against taking admission in courses like MBBS, MD or diploma in Singhania University, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. UGC has alleged in the latest notification that the graduates who are holding these unrecognized degrees will not be allowed to register for practice, as the varsity is running some of the courses illegally. 

The UGC has issued a notice in which it mentioned that the varsity has been running courses in Modern Medicine without prior permission of Central Government/ Board of Governors in Super-session of "Medical Council of lndia"/National Medical Commission." 

The Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan has issued warning and informed all the students and parents not to get admission in MBBS, MD, Diploma in Medicine etc. programmes run illegally by the Singhania University.
