UP NEET Counselling Round 2 registration begins

Uttar Pradesh Director General Medical Education & Training (DGME) has notified the candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses through UP NEET 2021 Counselling Round 2 to register themselves at the official website upneet.gov.in, latest by February 21.

As per the notification, the schedule for documents verification of academic certificates/caste/other documents and submission of security money is between February 18 to February 22. The date of declaration of the merit list of registered candidates is February 22. The schedule for online choice filling and locking is between March 4 to March 7 up to 2 pm.

The seat allotment result will be declared between March 8 and March 9. Candidates can download the allotment letters and admission from March 9 to March 14 except for Sunday and Government holidays.

The official notification reads, "For participation in counselling NEET UG 2021 candidates will have to compulsorily register online by depositing INR 2000 online through website upneet.gov.in. Candidates registered in the first round of counselling are not required to register again."

"Candidates will have to deposit security fee INR 30,000 for a government seat and INR 2,00,000 for the private medical seat and INR 100,000 for private dental seats as CTS Bank Draft in the name of "Director General Medical Education & Training, UP" Lucknow. Payable at Lucknow, at the nodal centre," the notification added.

The candidates are advised to carefully choose the colleges during the choice filling and must not forget to lock the choices otherwise such candidates will not be considered for the seat allotment process.
