UP NEET UG Counselling Dates 2024

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh has announced UP NEET UG counselling dates 2024 for round 1 at the official website. Students can check the UP NEET UG round 1 counselling dates 2024 including registration dates, merit list date, seat allotment date and other important events. Students who are willing to enrol for 85% state quota MBBS, and BDS seats in Uttar Pradesh government medical college and 100% MBBS and BDS seats in private medical college will be able to register online from August 20, 2024

The UP NEET UG counselling registration link 2024 will be available at upneet.gov.in. Note that the UP NEET UG counselling registration last date 2024 is August 24, 2024 (till 11:00 AM) . Students will have to participate in the counselling process and deposit the registration fee of INR 2,000 . Further, it is mandatory for students to deposit the security money online of INR 30,000 for government state quota seats and INR 2,00,000 for private medical college seats. Once the registration process is complete, the UP NEET UG merit list 2024 will be released on August 24, 2024

Q:   Who conducts NEET counselling?

The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories: central or national, and state counselling. The central counselling for NEET is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for the admission to the 15 per cent All India Quota seats. On the other hand, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses. On the other hand, the State Counselling Authorities conduct the admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other medical or allied courses.
