PGIMER BSc Nursing Exam 2025 was conducted by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, on July 27, 2025. The exam was held to screen aspirants seeking admission to BSc Nursing (4 Years) only for female candidates, and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic) for registered nurses with GNM diploma. The BSc nursing exam was held in the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Candidates who appeared for the exam shared it was a “Moderately difficult” exam.
Overall, the exam was held for 90 minutes. It comprises 100 MCQs. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, General Knowledge/Current Affairs were asked in the exam. As per the marking scheme for each correct answer, +1 will be given and -0.25 will be deducted for choosing an incorrect answer.

The exam was moderately difficult. Time Management was tough due to the 90-minute duration for 100 questions. Physics had a few application-based numericals, which made the paper seem on the difficult side.

Know Expected Result Date 2025
PGIMER Chandigarh will first release a provisional answer key for the candidates. There will be an objection raising window in which candidates will be given a chance to challenge the answer key. The final answer key will be released on the official portal along with the result.
The PGIMER BSc nursing 2025 result will be released on August 9, 2025 tentatively. Thereafter, counselling will be held to allot seats. The counselling window will open from August 11, 2025 as per the official guideline. Only female candidates will be allowed to seek admission in the PGIMER BSc nursing programme.
