AFCAT Interview

Indian Air Force (IAF) has activated the link to select date and venue of AFSB test on June 18. The facility to select the date and exam venue is available upto June 22. Candidates who fails to select the date and exam venue for AFSB interview within the deadline, will be allotted the same randomly and no requests for any change will be entertained in this regard. AFSB test will commence from July 27.

AFSB test of AFCAT is conducted for the qualified candidates of the online exam. Only such candidates can select AFSB interview date and venue selection.

Stages of AFSB Interview

AFSB test comprises three stages:

Stage 1: This stage comprises Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test. Stage 1 is for screening candidates, those who qualify will undergo subsequent testing. Qualified candidates will have to undergo document verification.

Stage 2: Psychological test will be conducted on Day 1. Group Tests and Interview will commence after document verification for the next five days.

For Flying Branch: Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) is for recommended candidates. This is a lifetime test. Candidates who have failed the CPSS/PABT in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy will not be eligible.

Documents for AFSB

Candidates need to provide the following documents:

  • AFCAT Admit Card
  • Marksheet of Class 10
  • Marksheet & certificate of Class 12
  • Provisional graduation certificate
  • Two attested photocopies of above-mentioned documents
  • Original NCC Certificate
  • Original valid Commercial Pilots’ License, issued by DGCA
  • Inbound Railway Ticket/Bus Tickets
  • Bring 20 copies of recent passport size colour photographs
