IAF has announced AFCAT 1 result for the online test on March 17, 2020. The result is available through the candidate's login. Know below the steps to check the result. 

AFCAT result

Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced AFCAT 1 result 2020 on March 17. The result is available through the candidate's login. To check AFCAT result, candidates need to enter email ID, password and captcha code. The result displays the qualifying status of candidates, section-wise marks, overall marks and cutoff marks. On the basis of AFCAT result 2020, candidates are called for AFSB interview. Qualified candidates can select their seats, dates and center for AFSB. The link will be available from March 18 to 23. Along with the result, AFCAT cut off is also made available.

The online test of AFCAT 1 2020 was conducted on February 22 and 23 across various cities throughout the country.

How to download AFCAT 1 result 2020?

Candidates can below the steps to download the result of AFCAT.

  • Visit the official website
  • Click the candidate’s login link
  • Enter the email ID, password and captcha code
  • The dashboard will appear on the screen
  • In the dashboard, click result and AFSB selection link
  • AFCAT result appears on the screen
  • Download the result and take its printout

The result displays the following details: 

  • Registration number
  • Name of candidates
  • AFCAT cut off
  • Obtained score
  • Qualifying status

What after the declaration of result?

For AFCAT, IAF prepares a list of candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the exam. The qualified candidates are called at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) for further rounds. Qualified candidates need to choose AFSB date and venue and download AFSB Interview Call Letter.

As per AFCAT selection process, AFSB Interview is conducted in three stages. The first stage is the Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test. The second stage is Psychological tests. The third stage is Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) which is conducted only for the Flying branch.
