AFCAT

Indian Air Force (IAF) will soon announce AFCAT (2) 2020 result. Candidates who have appeared in the exam, conducted on October 3, 4 and 5, can check their result on the official website. To login, candidates need to enter email ID, password and captcha code. The result will display the section-wise score, overall score and cutoff marks. The hard copy of the result will not be sent to candidates.

On the basis of AFCAT (2) 2020 result, candidates will be selected for AFSB Interview. The overall paper of AFCAT was moderate in terms of difficulty level. AFCAT cut off out of 300 is expected to be around 158 and 163. EKT cut off of AFCAT out of 150 marks is expected to be around 50.

For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded three marks. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded for unattempted questions. The scores of candidates will be calculated based on the number of correct answers after applying penalty for wrong answers.

What after AFCAT (2) 2020 result?

Qualified candidates are called at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) for further rounds. They need to choose AFSB date and venue and download AFSB Interview call letter. AFSB centres are located at Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB) and Varanasi (4 AFSB).

AFSB Interview is conducted in three stages. The first stage is the Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test. The second stage is Psychological tests. The third stage is Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) which is conducted only for the Flying branch.
