APPSC Group 1 main exam 2019 centre changing option given to candidates. Read below for details.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has given the option to change the APPSC Group 1 Main 2019 exam centre. The APPSC has issued a notice on August 17 to inform about the facility for the candidates appearing in the APPSC Group 1 Main exam 2019. The APPSC Group 1 main exam is scheduled to be conducted from November 2 to 13, 2020.

The candidates are suggested to give three preferences for the APPSC Group 1 main exam 2019.

The APPSC Group 1 main written examination centres are as follows.

1. Visakhapatnam  2. Rajahmundry  3. Vijayawada 
4. Nellore                  5. Tirupati           6. Kurnool 
7. Hyderabad.

How to change the APPSC Group 1 exam centre?

The candidates can change their APPSC Group 1 exam centre by logging in the commission’s website.

Step 1. Visit the official website of APPSC – psc.ap.gov.in

Step 2. Go to the Top navigation pan

Step 3. Click on the login tab

Step 4. Loin with the OTPR

Step 5. Follow the instructions and give the preference of the APPSC Group 1 main exam centres

The commission also provided a note at the bottom of the notice acquiring the overriding powers to itself.

“The Commission reserves the right to allot the applicant to any centre of examination depending on availability of the resources.”

The commission has changed the APPSC Group 1 main exam pattern by adding an Indian Polity and Constitution paper as paper III. The total number of papers in the APPSC Group 1 main exam is seven now. The Telugu and English papers are qualifying in nature only. The candidates need to qualify in these two papers and the marks secured in these papers are not considered for the final merit.

The APPSC Group 1 exam 2019 was notified on December 31. The APPSC Group 1 exam is a three-stage exam. The APPSC Prelims 2019 was conducted in May 2019 and around Eight thousand and five hundred candidates were declared qualified in the APPSC Group 1 result.
