Assam Police 2021 SI recruitment notification was released by the office of Chairman, State-Level Recruitment Board (SLRB) on December 7. The recruitment board notified 306 vacancies of Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Un-Armed Branch (UB). The official advertisement also released the category-wise breakup of the vacancies.

One important change done this year was the change in the age limit for Assam Police 2021 SI recruitment. The upper age limit is now revised to 26 years. Candidate must be born on or before 01-07-2001 and on or after 01-07-1995. There is no application fee for the exam.

There was no mention of the exam date and city in the official notification. The candidates can expect that the offline exam will be conducted in all the districts of Assam. This year, the competition will be tougher compared to the previous year because the upper age limit has been revised to 26 years. The cut-off for the written exam is expected to rise.
