Assam Police SI Recruitment 2020: Fresh date for written exam to be announced soon

Assam Police Sub-Inspector (UB) Examination was canceled previously due to the question paper leak. As per media reports, the new date for the written exam is going to be announced soon by the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB).
Assam Police announced vacancy for 597 positions at the sub-inspector level, for which over 66,000 candidates were to appear. The exam was scheduled for September 20, 2020, however, the board had to cancel the paper following preliminary reports that the question paper had been leaked and circulated via WhatsApp.
The written exam is the first stage of the recruitment which is followed by physical efficiency test (40 marks) and computer proficiency test (30 marks). Apart from these stages, there is 30 marks allotted for extra-curricular activities.
The written exam will be held for 100 marks and conducted in offline mode. There are three sections in the entire test, these are -
(i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension
(ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and
(iii) General Knowledge
All these sections are compulsory. The total time allotted for the test is 3 hours, there will be 100 questions and each question carries 1 mark. In the Assam police SI written exam, there is a negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. Also, read the complete syllabus for Assam police SI.
