The announcement of the declaration of Bihar STET result was made one week after Patna High Court dismissed the writ petitions challenging the re-test of Bihar STET exam 2019 on March 6. This result would pave the way for the recruitment of around 37 thousand teachers for vacancies at secondary and higher secondary schools. 

The re-exam for Bihar STET was held from September 9 to September 21, 2020. After qualifying Bihar STET, candidates will be provided with a certificate valid for next seven years. The certificate for Physical and Health instructor eligibility test will be valid for 6 years. Candidates can reappear for Bihar STET to improve their scores, as candidates with better rank in the merit list will get priority during job allotment.
