The Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission (BPSSC) released the joint PT examination results for Sub Inspector, Sergeant, and Assistant Superintendent Jail on January 27, 2020.

The Bihar Police Subordinate Selection Commission (BPSSC) released the joint PT examination results for Sub Inspector, Sergeant, and Assistant Superintendent Jail on January 27, 2020. The candidates who appeared for the PT examination can check their results on the commission’s official website. According to the results, around 50,000 candidates are declared successful. So far the selection is around 20 times the vacancies. Now the selected candidates will be appearing for the BPSSC Recruitment 2019 main examination. The BPSSC main examination is likely to be conducted in April/May 2020.  

The examination for 2446 Sub Inspector, Assistant Superintendent Jail, and Sergeant Posts was conducted at around 495 examination centres across the Bihar state on December 22, 2019. Around 5.85 lakh candidates appeared for the examination.

Step 1- Visit the BPSSC’s official website i.e. bpssc.bih.nic.in

Step 2- Click on the link that says,’Results: Prelims Result of Examination for the post of Police Sub Inspector/Sergeant/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) in Bihar Police. (Advt. No. 01/2019)’

Step 3- A new webpage will appear with BPSSC Recruitment 2019 PT Result PDF

Step 4- The roll numbers of the selected candidates are mentioned on the PDF

Step 5 – For future reference, download and take a print out of the result

The BPSSC released the official notification for the recruitment of 2446 Police Sub Inspector, Sergeant, Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment) and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) in the Home Department (Police) and Home Department (Jail) for the year 2019 on August 22, 2019.

The selection for BPSSC 2019 recruitment will be based on three stages:

• Pre Written Examination
• Mains Examination
• Physical Test
