BPSSC SI Mains Exam 2020 Postponed amid COVID- 19 crisis; Know more details
Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has decided to postpone the Bihar Police SI Mains Exam 2020 which was scheduled to be held on August 23 due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) SI mains exam has been postponed following the containment strategy of COVID-19 spread in the country. BPSSC has put out a notification regarding postponement of the exam on its official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in. The mains exam was scheduled to be held on August 23, 2020, I will notify the new date for BPSSC SI mains exam shortly keeping in view the ongoing pandemic.
Bihar Police SI Mains Exam 2020 for Police Sub Inspector/Sergeant/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) was to be conducted for 2246 vacancies this year. BPSSC SI prelims qualified candidates were to write the mains exam on April 26, the date was postponed and a new date, August 23 was announced by BPSSC. Despite consecutive lockdown and other measures, there is no change in COVID-19 situation in the country, therefore, BPSSC had to postpone the mains exam further.
