CDS 1 2022 Exam Analysis & Review by Students for Mathematics

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted CDS 1 2022 Mathematics paper from 3 pm to 5 pm. The Mathematics paper carried a total of 100 questions. The duration of the exam was two hours. The total marks allotted to this paper were 100. The standard of questions in the Mathematics paper was of Class 10 level. According to the feedback provided by the students, the Mathematics paper was easy. The paper was calculative and lengthy. Maximum questions were asked from Trigonometry, Geometry, and Mensuration. For incorrect answers, 1/3 marks allotted to the question are deducted as a penalty.

CDS Mathematics paper was conducted for candidates who had opted for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Air Force Academy (AFA). Read below CDS 1 2022 exam analysis and review by students for Mathematics to know the difficulty level of the exam.

Shiksha visited one of the exam centres in Central Delhi where more than 200 candidates appeared for the exam, to gather their feedback regarding the difficulty level of the paper.

Sudhir said, "The paper was good but calculative like last year. More conceptual questions were asked in this paper. Questions were asked from Mensuration, Trigonometry and Geometry."

Rahul said, "The Maths was easy compared to last year. Mainly questions were asked from Mensuration, Statistics. The cutoff will be around 100."

Pawan Kumar said, "The paper was easy but the calculations were lengthy. Mainly questions were asked from Set, Trigonometry, Time Distance, Mensuration."

Sandeep said, "The Maths paper was tough. Trigonometry covered 70 per cent of the paper. There was 20 per cent of questions from Arithmetic. There were four to five questions from Algebra. There were also questions from Mensuration."
