Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released CDS 2 notification 2022 on May 18. The online application form is available from May 18 to June 7. CDS 2 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on September 4, 2022. CDS 2 notification PDF is released on the official website-upsc.gov.in. CDS 2 notification is released for candidates who wish to join the courses of Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) commencing in July, 2023 and Officers Training Academy Courses (Men and Women) in October, 2023. CDS selection process comprises two stages-written exam and SSB interview. The starting CDS salary, i.e training stipend is INR 56,100 per month. A total of 339 vacancies have been announced. The online application form can be withdrawn from June 14, 2022 to June 20, 2022.

CDS 2 application form 2022 has been released online. Candidates can apply within the prescribed deadline. The application fees can be paid both online and offline. The application fee is INR 200 for General and OBC male candidates, while female, SC, ST candidates were exempted from fee payment.

CDS 2 Eligibility Criteria 2022
The age limit and educational qualification prescribed for CDS 2 2022 are given below:
CDS Age Limit
IMA: Candidates for IMA should be unmarried and must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1998, and not later than July 1, 2003.
INA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1998, and not later than July 1, 2003, can apply for INA.
AFA: To apply for AFA, the age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years as on July 1, 2022. They must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1998, and not later than July 1, 2002. The upper age limit of candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed upto 26 yrs (i,e born not earlier than July 2, 1996, and not later than July 1, 2002).
OTA (SSC Course for men): To apply for the OTA course (SSC Men), candidates must be unmarried and must have born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2003.
OTA (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are eligible to apply. They must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1987, and not later than July 1, 2003.
CDS Qualification
- For IMA and Officersโ Training Academy, the required educational qualification is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
- For Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a recognised university
- For Air Force Academy, candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a recognised university. They must have studied Physics and Mathematics in Class 12
