CDS (II) 2021 Notification released for 339 vacancies; Apply online till Aug 24

CDS II 2021 notification has been released for 339 vacancies. The application form is available from August 4 to 24, 2021. Read below to know eligibility, important dates and how to apply.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released CDS (II) 2021 notification for 339 vacancies. UPSC has activated the registration-cum-application window. The last date to fill CDS II application form is August 24. The application fees which are Rs 200 for General and OBC male candidates can be paid online and offline. The online fee payment can be done till August 24. The application fees can be paid offline August 23, 2021. Female, SC, ST candidates are exempted from fee payment. CDS II 2021 written exam will be conducted on November 14. The application form withdrawal link will be available from August 31 to September 6.

CDS II Eligibility Criteria 2021

CDS Eligibility Criteria 2021 in terms of age, sex, marital status, educational qualification is given below:

Age and Marital Status

IMA: Candidates should be unmarried and must have born not earlier than July 2, 1998, and not later than July 1, 2003.

INA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1998, and not later than July 1, 2003.

AFA: The age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years as on July 1, 2022. They must have born not earlier than July 2, 1998 and not later than July 1, 2002. The upper age limit of candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs (i,e born not earlier than July 2, 1996 and not later than July 1, 2002).

OTA (SSC Course for men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1997 and not later than July 1, 2003.

OTA (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are eligible. They must have born not earlier than July 2, 1987, and not later than July 1, 2003.

Educational Qualification

• For IMA and Officers’ Training Academy, candidates must be a graduate.
• For Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have a degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
• For Air Force Academy, a degree or Bachelor of Engineering is necessary. Students must have studied Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.
