The registration process for the Coast Guard Navik (General Duty), Domestic Branch (DB) is closing today i.e. February 3, 2020. Earlier, the closing date of the registration process was February 2, 2020. However, the date is extended by a day as the official site was down for maintenance.
On February 2, the Indian coast guard's official website displayed a message stating that the site will be down from 20:30 hrs to 23:45 hrs due to several ongoing maintenance activities on the server. Therefore the period of online registration is extended from 00:01 hrs till 06:00 hrs of February 3, 2020. Interested eligible candidates who wish to join the Indian Coast Guard Navik (General Duty) can apply by filling the registration form available on the official website i.e. joinindiancoastguard.gov.in

Coast Guard Navik DB 02/2020 Batch Online recruitment: Educational qualification
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics from an education board recognised by Central/State Government with minimum 50% aggregate marks. (Relaxation of 5% in the minimum cut off will be given to SC/ST applicants and National level sports personnel who have obtained first, second or third position events at the Open National Championship/ Inter-state National Championship in a field of sports.

Candidates born between August 1, 1998, to July 31, 2002 (both dates inclusive) can apply in the available recruitment process. The minimum age limit for application is 18 years and maximum age limit for registration is 22 years.

- Visit the official website joinindiancoastguard.gov.in
- Click on the ‘opportunity’ button
- Click on the advertisement that says ‘Recruitment of Naviks (10+2 Entry) 02/2020 Batch’
- Select post ‘Navik General Duty’
- Click on I Agree and the online application form will appear
- Fill the form with the necessary details
- Candidates must note that the photograph and signature are to be uploaded in .jpeg format (image quality 200 dpi)
- The recommended size of the signature and photograph is 10 kb to 30 kb and 10 kb to 40 kb respectively
- Go through all the details once again and click ‘submit’
