Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2019: Final Result Declared

According to the official notice, there are 27 candidates whose result is provisional. These candidates will not be offered any appointment till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from them.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the final result for UPSC Combined Geo-scientist and geologist examination 2019. The final result of the UPSC examination is based on the results of the written examination of the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2019 and the results of the personality test.
UPSC Combined Geo-scientist and geologist written exam was held from June 28 to 30, 2019. Candidates who passed the written examination appeared for a personality test held from December 16, 2019, to January 10, 2020. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their final results on the UPSC official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.

Candidates who appeared for the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Exam 2019 can check their result following the steps mentioned below or, can simply click on Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Exam 2019 Final Result
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, look for ‘what’s new’ tab
Step 3: Click on the result link under ‘what’s new’
Step 4: A PDF with the result list will open
Step 5: Check your result using your examination roll number
The Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2019 result PDF has a list, in order of merit, of the candidates who are recommended for appointment to the Group ‘A’ posts of Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist in the Geological Survey of India; and Group ‘A’ post of Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) in the Central Ground Water Board. Appointment to the posts under the two categories will be made by the Government in accordance with the merit position.
According to the official notice, there are 27 candidates whose result is provisional. These candidates will not be offered any appointment till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates. The validity of this provisional result is only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of the final result. The candidature will be canceled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard if the candidate fails to submit the documents as required by the commission.
