COVID-19 in India: DRDO CEPTAM 2019-20 Tier 2 exam postponed for A&A post

The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has postponed DRDO CEPTAM 2019-20 Tier 2 exam for A&A post due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tier 2 exam is conducted for candidates qualifying the Tier 1 exam. The tentative dates for Tier 2 will be informed to candidates in due course of time considering the guidelines issued by the government from time to time regarding COVID-19 pandemic.

DRDO CEPTAM Tier 2 is held for all postcodes. The exam includes Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability test applicable as per the post. This stage is qualifying in nature but candidates to qualify the test. The final merit list is prepared based on Tier 2 marks subject to candidates qualifying the Tier 1 exam. Document verification of provisionally shortlisted candidates is done at the time of joining by the concerned laboratory/establishment.

Candidates who have qualified Tier 1 exam will be able to download the DRDO CEPTAM admit card for Tier 2. The admit card will be made available on the official website two weeks prior to examination. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging with the required credentials. The admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

DRDO conducts CEPTAM exam for recruitment of Technical, Administrative & Allied category non-gazetted personnel. DRDO result 2019-20 Tier 1 result for Admin & Allied (A&A) post was announced on April 23, 2020. The exam was conducted from November 17 to 23, 2019. The re-exam was conducted on November 28, 2019.
