CTET notification 2021 is expected to be released in July. CBSE will announce the CTET exam date 2021 along with the notification.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the CTET 2021 notification anytime in July, as per the media reports. Though there is no official update on the conduct of the Central Teach Eligibility Test (CTET) exam in 2021, it is speculated that the CBSE may hold the examination after analysing the current COVID-19 situation in the country.
The fourteenth edition of the CTET exam was conducted on January 31, 2021. The fifteenth edition of the exam is expected to be held in the month of October 2021. Candidates who want to gain eligibility as classes 1 to 8 teachers will be appearing for the exam.
Previous years’ CTET trends
Every year, more than 20 lakh candidates appear for the CTET exam. In CTET January 2021 exam, over 23 lakh candidates gave exam. Of these candidates, a total of 6,54,299 candidates qualified the examination and were awarded the CTET certificate. Have a look at the previous years’ trends of the CTET exam below:
CTET Certificate now valid for lifetime
The CBSE has officially announced the extension of CTET certificate validity from 7 years to lifetime. However, the CBSE clearly stated that the revised CTET marksheets and eligibility certificates will not be issued to candidates following the validity extension.
