DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2022 recruitment has been cancelled by DRDO. Earlier, the tier-1 exam of DRDO CEPTAM MTS was postponed due to COVID-19.

DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2022 Recruitment Cancelled

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has cancelled DRDO CEPTAM 2022 recruitment for MTS post. The official notice reads, "It is hereby informed that the further processing of recruitment against DRDO Entry Test: 2019-20/MTS announced in December 2019 stands cancelled." A total of 1817 vacancies of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial Post was to be filled up through DRDO CEPTAM exam. The reason for cancellation of DRDO CEPTAM 2022 recruitment has not been given by DRDO.

DRDO 2022 MTS CEPTAM recruitment notification was released in December 2019. The online application form was available from December 23, 2019 to January 23, 2020.

The Tier-1 exam of MTS recruitment was scheduled to be conducted in 2021. However, DRDO had postponed the exam due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

DRDO CEPTAM MTS Selection Process

The selection process comprises two tiers: 1 and 2. Both the tiers were scheduled to be conducted in computer-based mode. The tier-1 exam was to screen candidates for tier-2. The minimum qualifying marks for tier 1 were 40 per cent for UE/ESM/OBC and 35 per cent for SC/ST candidates. On the basis of the performance in tier-I, candidates in the ratio 1:10 were to be shortlisted for the tier-2. The final selection of candidates for this post was to be done based on the tier-2 exam.
