GIC Admit Card 2021 was released on August 19. General Insurance Corporation (GIC) of India released the admit card for Assistant Manager (Scale-I) online only. The candidates can download the admit card with their registration number and password/date of birth. GIC will conduct the exam on August 29 at the designated exam centres across the nation.
How to download GIC Admit Card?
The candidates can download the GIC Admit Card 2021 in the manner given below:
- Visit the official website of the General Insurance Corporation- https://www.gicofindia.com/en/
- Click on the Career tab given at the top navigation bar
- Click on the GIC Admit Card link given on the Careers page
- Enter the required credentials required for login
- Download the GIC Admit Card and save it in the system
- Take two printouts of the GIC Admit card for future reference

The GIC Assistant Manager (Scale-I) prelims exam will be a mix of objective and descriptive type exams. The candidates appearing for the professional stream will be required to solve 40 stream related objective questions. There will be 40 higher-order reasoning ability/Critical thinking questions for the General stream candidates in the paper. There will be three descriptive type questions in the paper and the time allotted for the descriptive type questions is 60 minutes.
The GIC Assistant Manager (Scale-I) exam will be conducted as per the pattern given in the information handout. The paper pattern is summarised in the following table.

There will be a negative marking of one by four. It means that for each wrong answer, the ¼th mark assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. The GIC Assistant Manager (Scale-I) exam will be conducted in multiple shifts on a single day. The GIC Exam Syllabus was notified in the official notification.
