IBPS PO 2020 vacancies revised again; still lower than last year
IBPS PO 2020 vacancies have been revised again. The number of vacancies increased from 1,167 to 1,417. This year, the number of vacancies announced is less compared to last year.
Latest: IBPS PO Notification 2022-23 out for 6432 Vacancies
Out of the total IBPS PO vacancies, a total of 690 vacancies are for the UR category, while, 142 vacancies are for the EWS category. The number of vacancies announced for OBC and SC categories is 300 and 196, respectively. A total of 89 vacancies have been announced for ST candidates.
Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Punjab & Sind Bank and UCO Bank have only reported the number of vacancies. Banks such as Bank of Baroda, Central Bank of India and Indian Overseas Bank did not announce any IBPS PO vacancies. Banks such as Canara Bank, Indian Bank, Punjab National Bank and Union Bank of India are yet to report their vacancies.

Due to the merger of 10 Public Sector Banks (PSUs), the number of participating banks reduced compared to last year. The number of participating banks this year is 11, whereas it was 17 last year.

IBPS PO 2020 application form was released on August 5. The last date to apply online for IBPS PO exam is August 26. The application fee is Rs 850 for General and OBC while it is Rs 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
