IBPS PO, Clerk 2021 main exams have not been postponed yet and will be conducted as per schedule on January 22 and January 25. Read below to know the complete details. 

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct IBPS PO and Clerk 2021 main exams as per schedule, i.e. on January 22 and January 25, respectively. IBPS official said, “As of now, the exams have not been postponed and it will be conducted on the scheduled dates. If any decision regarding postponing the exam is taken, it will be intimated to candidates. The mains exam for PO will be conducted on January 22 while that for Clerk will be conducted on January 25.”

On the other hand, students are demanding that IBPS should postpone the mains exam of PO and Clerk due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. IBPS PO 2021 mains admit card was released on January 10. IBPS Clerk mains admit card was released on January 14. To download the admit card for both the exams, candidates need to login with the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.

The mains exam of IBPS Clerk comprises four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the test is 160 minutes, with different sectional timings. The test carries a total of 190 questions and total marks are 200.

The mains exam of IBPS PO consists of both objective and descriptive type tests. The objective test is divided into four sections-Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. The descriptive section carries questions from English Language (Letter Writing and Essay). The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. There is also a sectional time limit in the mains exam. The total marks allotted to the test are 225.
