IBPS RRB 2020 Result for prelims exam will be announced anytime soon @ibps.in

IBPS RRB 2020 prelims result for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts will be announced anytime soon. The result will be available on the official website-ibps.in. To check and download IBPS RRB result, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. IBPS result will display the qualifying status of candidates for the next round of the selection process.

IBPS RRB scorecard for the prelims exam will be released a few days after the declaration of the result. The scorecard will display the section-wise and overall scores as well as cutoff marks.

How the scores of IBPS RRB 2020 prelims exam calculated?

The scores of IBPS RRB 2020 prelims exam will be calculated through the following method.

• The corrected score will be arrived based on the number of correct answers after applying penalty for wrong answers. 1/4 marks are deducted for wrong answers.
• The corrected scores will then be made equivalent to adjust the differences in the difficulty level to arrive at the equated scores.
• Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
• Final scores in each test are rounded off to up to two digits after the decimal point.

Recently, IBPS had postponed the mains exam for Officers Scale I and Office Assistant posts. Earlier, the mains exam of Office Assistant was scheduled to be conducted on October 31, while the exam for the post of Officers Scale I was scheduled to take place on October 18.
