IES admit card 2020 has been released by UPSC. Please read below about the steps to download the IES admit card.
IES admit card 2020 for the written examination has been released by UPSC today. UPSC will conduct the IES written exam on January 5. UPSC release the IES admit card in online mode only.
The candidates can download the IES admit card from the official website of UPSC.
How to download IES admit card 2020?
- Visit the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in
- Click on the “E-Admit cards” link for various UPSC exams
- Select IES 2020 exam admit card
- Carefully read the instructions mentioned and proceed only after understanding the given instructions
- Now, submit the registration number and date of birth in the given form and submit
- IES 2020 admit card will appear on the screen
- Check all the details mentioned in the IES admit card
- Download the IES admit card and also save a copy
- IES 2020 admit card will carry detailed information about the candidates which include:
- Name
- Father’s name
- Date of Birth
- Roll number
- Registration Number
- Exam centres venue
- Exam date and time
What to do in case of discrepancy in the IES Admit Card?
The candidates need to inform the exam conducting authority that is UPSC about any discrepancy in the UPSC IES admit card. The details mentioned in the IES admit card are the reflection of the official records of UPSC and are meant to change in case of any difference from the original details.
The candidate can send their request to the mail id skindo-upsc@gov.in given in the e-admit card page. This will help the candidates to remove the mistake and maybe UPSC reissue the admit card.
Exam day guidelines for IES 2020 Written exam?
The candidate's aim to perform well in the IES exam. To perform well, the candidates should follow exam day instruction:
- The candidates should visit the exam centre before the exam day so they can anticipate the time of travelling to the centre on the exam day and manage accordingly.
- The candidate should reach the exam centre for at least one hour before the exam commencement.
- The candidate should be dressed in comfortable attire so he or she can sit comfortably for the exam hours.
- The candidates should take two or more ballpoint pen with them.
- The candidates should check that they are not carrying any prohibited material as mentioned in the instructions (as given in the admit card/website) such as mobile, calculator, digital camera, Bluetooth device and the likes.
