IES Prelims Exam 2020 Answer key is the most awaited thing after the exam. UPSC will release the official answer key for the IES prelims exam in November 2020. Various coaching institutes are releasing the IES answer key for the candidates.

UPSC conducted the IES Prelims exam 2020 on January 5 at various exam centres across India. As per the media estimates, around 3 lakh candidates appeared in the IES Prelims exam competing for the 495 vacancies notifies in the IES Exam 2020 notification. The coaching institutes release the answer key each year after the IES prelims exam but the answer given by UPSC are bit different from the coaching institutes.

UPSC also releases the IES cut-off after releasing the IES Answer key for all the sets and all the papers. UPSC releases the answer key for all the multiple option type question paper including for all the engineering subject papers.
The candidates can take a note that the official IES Answer key will be released only after the exam process is over.

The IES aspirants can download the official answer key in the manner given below.

• Visit the official website of UPSC
• Click on the drop list given on the Examination tab.
• Click on the answer key tab given in the drop list.
• A new window will appear. Select the IES Exam from the exam list.
• Click on the paper name 
• The answer key will appear

What in case there is a dispute in the answer key?

UPSC does not entertain any such applications and the answers given by the UPSC are final. In case the questions have more than one answers right or where there is misprinting in the question paper, UPSC take down that question and mark the answer as '*’ in the answer key.
