Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2020: Apply online before January 20

The online application forms for IAF Airmen Posts in Group X and Y Trade are available on the IAF Airmen official website i.e. airmenselection.cdac.in. The last date to submit IAF Airmen applications is January 20. 

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official recruitment notification for the post of Airmen in Group ‘X’ and Group ‘Y’ Trades for 01/2021 Intake. The online application process was started on January 2 and is set to conclude on January 20, 2020. To apply for Airmen Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade) and Airmen Group Y [Except Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Police), Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Security) And Musician Trades] the eligible male candidates (Indian/Nepalese) must be unmarried.

Indian Air Force Airmen Recruitment 2020: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of IAF Airmen i.e. airmenselection.cdac.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online’

Step 3: A new page will appear with login fields

Step 4: Enter your login details and password (New users can register on the website by clicking on New User? Register link and fill the Sign-Up details.)

Step 5: The application form will appear

Step 6: Fill in the required mandatory details and click on ‘Submit’

Step 7: For future reference, take a print out of the application form

IAF Airmen Recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Group 'X' (Except Education Instructor Trade) – Candidate must have passed 12^th/Intermediate or equivalent examination in any stream/subject with Physics, Mathematics and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or the candidate must have passed three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.

Group 'Y' (Except Automobile Technician, IAF(S), IAF (P), GTI, and Musician) – Candidate must have passed 12th / Intermediate certificate in any stream/ subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English

Group 'Y' Medical Assistant Trade Only – Candidate must have passed 12th / Intermediate or Equivalent examination in any stream/subjects with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English

Age Limit:

Born between 17 January 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for this post. The upper limit to apply for the post as on the date of enrollment is 21 years.

IAF Airmen Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the tests and phases listed below:

• Phase 1 (Online Test)
• Phase 2 Test
• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
• Adaptability Test- 1 
• Adaptability Test- 2 
• Medical Test
