Jharkhand reduces Graduate Level Exam fee for General, OBC, SC/ST candidates
The examination fee for the unreserved category, OBC has been reduced to Rs 100, and for SC/ST to Rs 50.
In a major relief to competitive exam candidates, the Jharkhand government has announced to reduce examination fee for Unreserved Category, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates. The fee has been reduced from Rs 1000 to Rs 100 for unreserved and OBC.
The fees for SC, ST has been reduced to Rs 50 from Rs 250. The examination fee for the unreserved category, OBC was Rs 1000 and for SC and ST was Rs 250.
Making the announcement on Twitter, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren wrote: βIt was decided to charge Rs 100 from unreserved, economically weaker, extremely backward and backward classes and Rs 50 from ST / SC category candidates, while revising the pre-determined examination fee in Jharkhand General Graduate Qualification Combined Competitive Examination-2021.β
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE) 2021 notification on its official website jssc.nic.in. The recruitment drive has been launched to fill up a total of 956 posts, of which 384 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Branch Officer, 322 for Junior Secretariat Assistant, 245 for Block Supply Officer, and five posts for Planning Assistant.
Candidates will be able to apply for the exam from January 15, 2022, onwards.
The last date to register for the exam is February 14, 2022. Candidates will be able to make changes to their application form between February 19 (11.00 AM) to 21, 2022.
The applicants should have attained the age of 21 years and should not be more than the age of 35 years as on August 1, 2021. For educational qualification, the applicants should hold a graduate degree of its equivalent.
