According to the official notice, the KARTET 2019 exam will be conducted on March 15. 

Office of the Commissioner for Public Instruction, Centralised Admission Cell, Kempegowda Road, Central Junior College, Campus, Bangalore, and Government of Karnataka welcomes interested candidates to apply for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2019. The application process for Karnataka TET 2019 has formally begun from January 25. Candidates willing to appear for the KARTET 2019 exam can register for the examination on the official exam portal i.e. schooleducation.kar.in. According to the official notice, the KARTET 2019 exam will be conducted on March 15. 

KARTET 2019: How to Apply

Interested candidates can fill the application forms for KARTET 2019 following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the KARTET 2019 registration portal i.e. https://sts.karnataka.gov.in/TET/

Step 2- New users can fill in their details and register themselves

Step 3- Log in with the registration credentials 

Step 4- Fill in the necessary details and upload the supporting documents 

Step 5- Submit the form 

Step 6- Download the copy of the form for future reference

KARTET 2019 Exam Details

The KARTET conducting authority has released a detailed notification providing all the necessary details about the exam including eligibility criteria, fee details, and important dates. To help candidates understand these details, the same has been explained in detail below.

KARTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

According to the official notification, in order to be eligible for KARTET 2019 candidates need to score a minimum of 60% marks (55% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam.

KARTET 2019 Exam Structure

There will be two staged of Karnataka TET 2019 Exam. KARTET Paper 1 Exam will check the eligibility of the candidates to teach in lower primary classes i.e. from Class 1 to 5. The second stage i.e. the second exam will be held to screen the eligibility of the candidates who want to teach in upper primary classes i.e. from Class 6th to Class 8th. KARTET 2019 Exam will be conducted on March 15 from 9:30 AM to 12 PM while the Paper 2 Exam will be held on the same date in the afternoon session i.e. from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Paper for both the exams will consist of 150 MCQ type questions of which each will carry 1 mark.

Candidates appearing for KARTET 2019 exam have the option to appear for the eligibility test for both the papers simultaneously. The KARTET 2019 application fee has been announced according to the number of papers for which an applicant is registering. The details for the same are listed below:
