Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test has been deferred due to the SSLC examination. Before this, the KARTET exam 2020 was slated to take place on March 15, 2020.

KARTET 2020 exam date has been postponed by the Karnataka’s Department of Public Instruction to April 12, 2020. According to the official notice displayed on the assigned website of KARTET – schooleducation.kar.nic.in, the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test has been deferred due to the SSLC examination. Before this, the KARTET exam 2020 was slated to take place on March 15, 2020. Now, new KARTET 2020 admit card will be released by the Karnataka board. Candidates who have downloaded the KARTET 2020 admit cards should abandon it as the new admit card for KARTET exam 2020 will be released by the board. The new KARTET Admit Card 2020 will now be released a week or two before the KARTET exam 2020.

Candidates can go through the modified KARTET exam 2020 schedule and other updates pertaining to the KARTET 2020 exam. Now the KARTET exam will take place on April 12 in two different sessions for Paper 1 and 2. Both the exams will be of two and half hours duration. Candidates wanting to teach Classes 1 to 5 in Karnataka School will appear for KARTET Paper 1 and candidates wanting to teach Classes 6 to 8 will appear for KARTET Paper 2. Candidates wanting to teach all classes from 1 to 8 will need to appear for both the papers.
