MAHA TET Exam Date 2026: Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, had postponed MAHA TET examination that was scheduled to be conducted on June 28, 2026, following information about an alleged question paper leak. As of September 15, Council has not announced a fresh MAHA TET exam date.
Candidates who registered for MAHA TET 2026 exam are advised to wait for official announcement and regularly check official website mahatet.in, for revised schedule. Official MAHA TET website continues to display postponement notice, while timetable currently does not mention fresh dates for Paper I and Paper II.
No New MAHA TET Exam Date 2026 Yet
MSCE has not provided a confirmed date for postponed MAHA TET 2026 exam. The official timetable currently lists application and admit card-related dates but leaves dates for Paper I and Paper II blank. Earlier, candidates were advised not to rely on unofficial information regarding the revised schedule. The fresh MAHA TET exam date 2026 will be communicated through an official notification.
MAHA TET 2026 Exam Postponed
MAHA TET 2026 examination was originally scheduled for June 28. MSCE postponed test a day before scheduled examination after authorities received information that some individuals in Bhiwandi area of Thane allegedly had access to details related to MAHA TET 2026 question paper.
Following this information, Bhiwandi Police conducted a raid and recovered material that reportedly matched questions from TET paper. A case was subsequently registered, following which the examination council decided to postpone the test to ensure transparency and facilitate an investigation.
Maharashtra TET was expected to be conducted at 1,028 centres across Maharashtra, with around 4.28 lakh candidates expected to appear.
No Fresh Registration or Fee Required
Candidates who had already completed MAHA TET 2026 registration do not need to submit a fresh application or pay fee again for postponed examination. The examination authorities had clarified that the existing applications would remain valid when the test is rescheduled. Therefore, candidates should save their registration details.
