Meghalaya TET Result 2021 released, MTET Document Verification begins; check details here
Meghalaya TET result 2021 has been released by the DERT. Candidates who qualified the MTET 2021 exam need to appear for document verification.
Meghalaya DERT has released the result of the Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test (MTET) 2021 exam. As per the MTET result 2021, a total of 3,561 candidates qualified MTET Paper 1 for Lower Primary (LP) teachers and 3,172 candidates qualified Paper 2 for Upper Primary (UP) teachers. Meghalaya TET qualified candidates now need to submit documents for verification. The DERT will award the MTET certificates only after the document verification.
Candidates can check the Meghalaya TET result 2021 by visiting the official website. The result has been released separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The result comprises roll numbers and names of the candidates who have been declared pass in the exam.
The Meghalaya MTET 2021 exam was held on October 9 in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2.

- Visit the official website
- Go to the ‘Directorate of Educational Research and Training’ tab
- Click on the result link for LP/ UP
- Search for your roll number or name in the result PDF
- Download the PDF for future reference

MTET Certificate 2021: Documents required for Verification
The MTET qualified candidates will be awarded the eligibility certificates after verification of documents. Candidates need to submit the self-attested copies of the following documents to the respective exam centres (Principal, DlET/Officer-in-charge, Shillong Centre) by December 22, 2021:
- MTET Admit Card
- Certificates of caste category (SC/ST/ OBC/ PwD)
- SSLC certificate
- Birth certificates
- HSSLC/ Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
- Graduate/Post-Graduate certificates and mark sheets
- DElEd/ BEd/ MEd mark sheets and certificates
- No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the school/ institution/ government offices for candidates who presently working in these organisations
- Certificate from the Head of the institution for candidates who are pursuing final year of teacher education courses
Note: Candidates who have qualified both papers of LP and UP need to submit two sets of these documents.
