NDA 1 Exam 2026 (April 12): Check Exam timings & Important Guidelines

NDA 1 exam 2026 will be held on April 12 in two shifts for Mathematics and GAT papers. Candidates must carry NDA admit cards, follow guidelines and arrive early at exam centre.

NDA 1 Exam Day Guidelines

NDA 1 Exam 2026 (April 12): National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2026 will be conducted on April 12, 2026 by Union Public Service Commission across various exam centres in India. Those appearing for exam are advised to download their NDA admit cards and carry printout of it to exam centre. In case photograph is not visible or not available on NDA 1 admit card, candidates are advised to carry two identical photographs. 

NDA 1 exam 2026 will be conducted in two shifts. It may be noted that entry into exam hall will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the exam, i.e., 9.50 am for the forenoon session and 1.50 pm for afternoon session.

Candidates are advised to report to their exam centres at least one hour before scheduled time to complete verification and security checks.

Important NDA 1 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must follow instructions issued by UPSC to avoid disqualification

• Carry a printed copy of NDA 1 admit card along with valid photo ID proof. Entry without these documents will not be allowed
• Late entry to exam hall is prohibited. Gates will be closed well before NDA 1 exam begins
• Wear simple and comfortable clothing
• Do not carry mobile phones smartwatches calculators Bluetooth devices or any electronic gadgets
• They must use black ballpoint pen to mark answers
