NDA 1 Exam 2026 on April 12

NDA 1 Exam 2026: Union Public Service Commission will conduct NDA & NA (I) Examination on April 12, 2026. With exam date approaching, candidates must follow prescribed NDA 1 exam day guidelines, dress code and instructions to avoid any last minute issues. They should report at exam centres at least 60 minutes before paper. 

Entry to examination hall will be closed 10 minutes before paper starts. They need to carry their NDA 1 admit card and any one photo ID card to exam centre. They must use only a black ballpoint pen for marking answers on NDA 1 OMR sheet and filling attendance records.

NDA 1 Exam 2026 Day Schedule and Reporting Time

As per official schedule, NDA 1 exam will be conducted in two shifts

• Mathematics: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• General Ability Test (GAT): 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Mandatory Documents to Carry at NDA Exam Centre

Candidates must carry these items to exam centre of UPSC NDA

• Printed copy of NDA 1 Admit Card 2026
• A valid photo ID proof, Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, etc
• Black ballpoint pen for marking answers on OMR sheet

Dress Code for NDA 1 Exam 2026

UPSC have not released any NDA 1 dress code. So, candidates must wear simple clothes and check these guidelines

• Wear simple and comfortable clothes
• Avoid full sleeve outfits, heavy jackets or layered clothing
• Do not wear caps, scarves, or sunglasses inside NDA exam hall
• Footwear should be simple, avoid shoes with thick soles

Items Prohibited Inside NDA 1 Exam Hall

Candidates must not carry these items

• Mobile phones, smartwatches and Bluetooth devices
• Calculators or electronic gadgets
• Notes, papers or study material
• Bags, wallets or valuable items

There will be no facility for safekeeping, so candidates should not bring restricted items to exam centre
