NDA I 2022 notification and application form have been released on December 22 for a total of 400 vacancies. The last date to apply for the exam is January 11, 2022. The exam will be conducted on April 10, 2022.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released NDA I 2022 notification for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA for 149th course and 111th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2, 2023. Along with the notification, the application form has been released. The last date to submit the application form is January 11, 2022. The online applications can be withdrawn from January 18 to 24, 2022.

The exam will be conducted on April 10, 2022 across 100 cities. A total of 400 vacancies have been announced for both male and female candidates. The result of the written exam will be declared in June 2022.

NDA application form 2022 comprises two parts-Part I and II. Part I comprises candidate’s registration, choosing the preferred branch, verifying details and generation of registration ID and Part II comprises paying the application fees, select the exam centre, upload scanned images of photographs and signatures. The application fees are INR 100, however, SC/ST/Women candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the fees.

Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2003 and not later than July 1, 2006 are eligible for the exam. For Army Wing of National Defence Academy, candidates must have passed Class 12. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12 can also apply for the exam provisionally.
