NTSE 2021 Stage II postponed due to rise in COVID cases
The new date for the NTSE Stage 2 Examination 2021 will be announced after the situation normalizes in the country and is conducive for the conduct of the examination.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) postponed the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) 2021 stage 2 amid rising COVID cases. Earlier, the exam that was scheduled to be held on June 13 has been deferred until further notice. The council will soon release new dates after reviewing the situation.
The official notification reads, “Due to prevailing situation of COVID19 in the country and the enforced lockdown in different states/UTs, it is decided to postpone the NTSE stage 2 exam which was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021.”

According to Indrani Bhaduri, Professor and Head, Educational Survey Division, NCERT, “The new date for the NTSE 2021 Stage II exam will be released on the official website of NCERT after the pandemic settles and the situation is conducive for the conduct of the examination.”
All States and UTs are releasing the NTSE Result 2021 for Stage 1 on the official website of SCERT. Candidates who qualify the NTSE stage 1 will be required to write NTSE stage 2 exams and clear it in order to be awarded the NTSE 2021 scholarship.
