The scholarship examination was scheduled to be conducted on December 13 but was postponed due to the ongoing farmers’ protest.

State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) Punjab was all set to conduct the NTSE Punjab 2021 on December 13 (Sunday). However, on Friday, PSEB decided to postpone the scholarship examination due to the ongoing farmers’ protest. The exam has now been rescheduled and will be conducted on December 19. The timings of the examination, roll number, examination centres of the candidates will remain the same, the SCERT said.

Earlier last week, the state had conducted mock tests for better preparation of students. With an extra five days of preparation, candidates must solve and practice NTSE previous years’ question papers. This shall make them familiar with the NTSE exam pattern, types of questions asked in the examination and more. Candidates are advised to solve the entire question paper within the stipulated time.

SCERT will release the NTSE Punjab Answer Key 2021 after a few days of conducting the examination. Candidates can use this answer key to check the correct answers to the questions asked in the scholarship exam and calculate their probable score. This score can then be compared with the NTSE Cutoff of Punjab for the last year to check if they can qualify for the stage 2 exam. NTSE 2021 Stage 2 is scheduled to be conducted on June 13.
