NTSE is a scholarship exam for students of Class 10 to identify and nurture talent. The exam is conducted at two levels – Stage 1 at the state level and Stage 2 at the national level.
NTSE Punjab Application Form 2021 released! According to the official notification State Council for Education Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab is all set to conduct the State Level Talent Search Examination (Stage 1) for the year 2020-21 on December 13, 2020, (Sunday). The examination is conducted to select students from Class 10. NTSE is a scholarship exam for students of Class 10 to identify and nurture talent. The exam is conducted at two levels – Stage 1 at the state level and Stage 2 at the national level. Students studying in Class 10 in state government, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyala or any other type of recognised/ affiliated schools situated in Punjab can register for NTSE 2021. Students must note that the last date for the submission of completely filled NTSE 2021 Punjab application form is November 2, 2020. According to the reports, NTSE admit card 2021 will be handed over to the students at least 15 days before the date of the exam.  
Interested students of Class 10 can collect the NTSE application form 2021 from the State liaison officer or from their school. Students applying for NTSE 2021 must note that s/he must be securing 55% marks for (SC/ST/Physically Challenged students) and 70% marks (for other categories) in the Class 9 annual examination.

Interested students must note that a bout 2000 scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:
  • 1250 per month for Class 11-12
  • 2000 per month for UG and PG level
  • As per UGC norms for research level

NTSE 2021 Reservation Criteria

NCERT will award the NTSE scholarships 2021 on the basis of certain reservation criteria which is provided below. However, it is mandatory for candidates to mention their category and attach a copy of the certificate (in case of reserved category only) in the NTSE application form 2021. The result and merit lists will also be prepared on the following reservation criteria:
