NTSE Stage 2 Result 2020 to be announced by June 10
NCERT announced that it will release the NTSE 2020 stage 2 result on July 10. OMR sheets and the final scoring keys will be available by June 15.
The National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) has announced that it will release the NTSE stage 2 result 2020 or NTSE 2020 final result by July 10 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their NTSE stage 2 result 2020 using their roll number and date-of-birth.
The Council will release the OMR sheets and the final scoring keys by June 15. Students will be able to calculate their probable score using the answer keys.
Thereafter, the final NTSE result 2020 will be announced by July 10 in the form of category-wise merit lists. Stage 2 cutoff marks will also be released along with NTSE result 2020 for Stage 2.
The merit list of NTSE stage II will mention candidates' names, their father's name, and roll numbers. It will not mention scores or ranks for the stage II exam of NTSE. These candidates will be awarded the NTSE scholarship.
In a notice, NCERT informed that the work related to the processing of NTSE exam result is in progress despite the Covid19 pandemic. “Candidates will be able to check their OMR answer sheet along with the final scoring keys on NCERT website on June 15th, 2021. Final results expected to be declared by July 10th, 2021.”

The NTSE 2020 provisional answer keys were released in March and objections were invited till April 7.
The final award shall be declared on the basis of combined scores of MAT and SAT. Only the selected candidates shall be informed by registered letter and through the NCERT website ncert.nic.in. Marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination will be revealed to all the candidates individually through the NCERT website.
The result of NTSE stage 2 exam will be processed in the online mode only and NCERT makes sure that there is no discrepancy in processing the results. Therefore, the council will not consider any request for re-checking/re-evaluating the results, if any candidate raises an objection to the scoring.
The NTSE Stage 2 exam was held on February 14. The exam comprised two papers- Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), a total of 100 marks.
